Commentator Matt Naulty Joins Super Series Broadcast Team

Highly experienced motor racing commentator Matt Naulty has joined the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series commentary team for 2025.

Naulty will be the lead caller for the TA2 Muscle Car Series, as well as the Australian Production Car Series which has joined the Super Series program this year.

The South Australian has a huge resume of race calling, he has been a Supercars support race commentator for over a decade, he is also a regular speedway and drag racing caller.

Naulty is very much looking forward to commentating both categories throughout the year.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, leading the call for both TA2 Muscle Cars and the Australian Production Cars,” said Naulty.

“I’ve been very impressed with TA2 over the past couple of years. Big V8s, famous car brands and some great personalities behind the wheel. It’s a fantastic category and it’s my type of racing.

“The racing in Production Cars was great in 2024 and they should grow further in 2025 as we have seen with the Bathurst 6 Hour momentum.

“I’m pleased to add the APC to my schedule as it has a wide variety of cars and some great drivers – both up and coming plus the experienced household names that should make for some great racing.

“Along with my commitments with the Supercars support series this year, this fills up my dance card and I can’t wait to get back behind the microphone.”

For both TA2 and the Production Cars, Naulty will be joined in the box by the experienced Matt Cavanagh. Cavanagh has been a caller of the Super Series for a number of years and like Naulty has commentated many disciplines.

Jarrod Maclean, Dan McCarthy and well-known driver Melinda Price complete what is a highly experienced and enthusiastic on-air broadcast team in 2025.

All six rounds of the Super Series will again be shown live on Foxtel, Kayo and SBS. While an international audience can watch on the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series YouTube channel.
