Maritimo becomes new TA2 co-naming sponsor

Hi-Tec Oils Super Series category, the TA2 Racing Australia has a new co-naming rights sponsor, Maritimo Luxury Motor Yachts.

The category will now be known as the TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series Presented by Maritimo.

Maritimo is a leading Australian luxury motor yacht manufacturer known around the globe for its high-quality.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome such a prestigious brand to the TA2 Muscle Cars Series, and along with TFH HIRE, look forward to what 2025 brings for all parties,” said TA2 Muscle Car Series category manager Matt MacKelden.

“The TA2 Muscle Car Series has enjoyed a great off-season with new ownership and management. Round 1 at Winton this weekend is shaping up to be a brilliant start to the series, 2025 couldn’t be a better time for Maritimo to join the action.”

Maritimo has motorsport coursing through its veins with decades competing in offshore powerboat racing, in which it develops and tests world-class technologies that form the heart of every Maritimo yacht created.

Maritimo is the only luxury motor yacht builder in the world with a dedicated racing division and world championship race team all in-house.

Simon Stewart, Marketing Manager of Maritimo is delighted to sign up with the series, he hopes that this will grow the business globally.

“The TA2 Muscle Car Series is a platform enjoyed not only in Australia, but also in the US, Europe, Asia and NZ, so we’re looking forward to using the partnership to further develop relationships with our customers both locally and internationally,” Stewart said.

Round 1 of the TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series Presented by Maritimo takes place this week, as part of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series at Winton Motor Raceway.

The TA2 Muscle Cars will practice on Friday, with qualifying and the four races taking place over the weekend.

Much of the action can be viewed on Kayo, Fox Sports, SBS Viceland and SBS On demand from 1.00pm-5.00pm AEDT on Saturday and Sunday.

However, for more action across the weekend, starting at 10.00am AEDT, tune into the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series YouTube channel for the livestream.

To attend, a Saturday ticket is $20, Sunday $30, or a 2-day pass for just $40. Friday attendance is free for all, while the entire event is free if you are under the age of 16.
