Test and Tune at SMSP this weekend

This Saturday the 17th of August, a Hi-Tec Oils Test and Tune Passenger Ride Day is taking place at Sydney Motorsport Park, in which all competitors are welcome.

Its an opportunity to not only drive the Sydney Motorsport Circuit and use the day as a test session, but it could also be used to give back to sponsors as a ride day.

There are plenty of motorsport events coming up at Sydney Motorsport Park from national events to club days and of course World Time Attack, a test day prior could be beneficial to a successful race weekend.

Make sure you enter by Thursday August the 15th at 5pm AEST to lock in a spot for the test and tune day two days later.

There are two sessions throughout the day, a ‘Morning session’ from 8.30am-4.00pm, and a ‘Twilight session’ from 4.30pm until 10.00pm.

To take part in either session the cost is $550 (including GST), however there is a full day option from 8.30am-10.00pm which costs $880 (including GST).

If you’d like to share the driving, that is an option also, an additional driver is allowed, for a cost of just $220.

Track gates open at 7.00am, giving you ample set up time before the morning session commences at 8.30am.

If your racing car does not have a timer, they can be purchased for $66 (including GST).

Driver’s briefings will take place in the Hinxman Room with times to be confirmed.

Due to the large variety of vehicles the test day will run with multiple groups rotating throughout the day.
