Variety at Winton Super Series Round

The penultimate round of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series at Winton Motor Raceway has something for everyone. Winton Motor Raceway, ‘The Nations Action Track’ will provide fun for the whole family across the weekend of October 4-6. From the TA2 Muscle Car Series to kart racing, this event has it all!

The main category, the TA2 Muscle Car Series itself, with practice starting on Friday and racing taking place across the weekend.

Josh Haynes leads the series, but round after round he is being challenged by regular foes and even a couple of drivers making cameo appearances.

If you have not seen Legend Cars Australia before, let us assure you that the series is worth the price of admission itself. The small in size, large in action category always turns on excitement race after race, lap after lap and even corner after corner. There is always a battle somewhere on the track when Legend Cars are racing.

Rotary engines always have a cult following and Formula RX8, a one-make series for Mazda RX8s is no exception. This category is blossoming at the moment, with grid sizes increasing round upon round with over 20 cars entering per round.

Superkarts will join the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series also, yes, the Victorian Superkart club will descend on Winton with a predicted 70 entries.

The well-known Australian Super TT category will also be circulating the 3.0km venue throughout the weekend.

The entertainment is not just limited to the track, there will be historic racing cars on display in the Winton Showroom located on the outside of Turn 2.

Fans will also be able to race on simulators, and for the kids, facepainting is on offer. Don’t worry parents the bar will also be open.

Not only is the racing family friendly but so are the ticket prices, $40 for a weekend pass, Sunday is $30, Saturday $20, while practice day Friday is free.
