2025 Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Calendar
After the success of 2024, the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series will return with another six-round calendar in 2025, including the return of national motor racing to a very popular South Australian circuit.
The six-round Hi-Tec Oils Super Series will visit four venues, across four states, with an event under lights.
A very notable addition to the 2025 calendar is the historic Mallala Motorsport Park in South Australia as the penultimate round.
It will not only be the maiden visit for the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series to Mallala, but it will also be the first national racing event held at the venue in over a decade.
“The support of the motorsport community in South Australia has been great, we’re proud to bring our national series and reignite the spirit of racing at Mallala,” said Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Manager Carolyn Oldano.
“Mallala was the scene of some fantastic touring car racing in the 80s and 90s, I look forward to bringing our series there.
“The 2025 calendar is packed with excitement! Four unique tracks across four states will challenge drivers with a mix of high-speed circuits and technical layouts, plus the addition of enduro rounds and a thrilling night event.”
The season will kick off at the spiritual home of the Super Series and the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA), the sanctioning body of the championship at Winton Motor Raceway.
It will be the first of two events at Winton which not only kicks off the campaign from February 28-March 2, but it also concludes it.
Round 2 sees the series return to Sydney Motorsport Park in New South Wales from May 30-June 1, which in 2025 will feature some night racing action under lights.
For Rounds 3 and 4, the Super Series escapes the cold winter in the southern states and heads north to the warmth of Queensland.
Both events will be at Queensland Raceway located just 45 minutes south-west of the Brisbane CBD, with each event unique in its own right. Round 3 from June 28-30 is the 2 Days of Thunder event.
After a month off, teams will head back to Queensland Raceway, from August 15-17.
As previously highlighted, the penultimate event will take place at Mallala on the last weekend of September, the 26th to the 28th. It will be a huge weekend of action with competition taking place into the twilight.
The final round of the calendar will take place in country Victoria near Benalla, with Winton bookending the season from October 31st to November 2.
The Super Series will go from strength-to-strength in 2025 with new categories to be announced in coming days.
“Previous categories will remain us, while some exciting new ones will be announced in coming days. We are definitely delivering a great line up in 2025,” Oldano explained.
The TV deal is unmatched and remains unchanged for 2025. The Super Series can once again be viewed on free-to-air TV on SBS, as well as Fox Sports and Sky New Zealand. The Livestream remains the place to watch all the weekend’s action.
“This year has been quite the year for the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series,” said Oldano.
“We’ve seen growth in terms of participation, spectator engagement, and competitive racing.
“The Super Series has everything it needs to succeed: exciting grassroots motorsports, talented competitors, and exceptional TV coverage. We’re not Supercars—we’re a platform that brings grassroots racing into homes across Australia and overseas.
“Our TV deal has also been a cornerstone, helping bring the excitement of the series into homes across the country and expanding our audience. Companies interested in partnership opportunities are welcome to reach out for further details.
“For sponsors, it’s a cost-effective way to grow their brand on a national scale, supported by strong broadcasting and media reach.
“Our goal is to elevate talent, expand opportunities for sponsors, and grow the motorsport community while staying true to its roots.
“This series wouldn’t be possible without the support of our key sponsors and partners. I’d like to thank Hi-Tec Oils, AASA, and Hyundai for continuing their support for another year, as well as all category sponsors, managers, track owners, officials and most importantly the competitors and families who make this event a success.”
